SECONDARY NEWS 

RAFFLE - The Junior class is having a raffle in order to raise funds for
 their upcoming community service. The cost of the ticket is L100 and
 are available with the Juniors. The prizes are:
Lunch or dinner in Sake Restaurant, La Galeria
Lunch or dinner in La Bonita Restaurant, La Galeria
Hydrating and regenerative facial by DermaCenter
Make up session by Astrid Lara

*** WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY, MARCH 23.

ATTENDANCE - Traffic is difficult for everybody in the city.
Please make the necessary arrangements so your child arrives to
school before 7:55 am.

BLOGS – we remind all parents and students to check the blogs
every Monday (preferably) in order to be informed of the week’s content.

HOMEWORK CALENDAR – is a very useful tool to keep track
of homework, quizzes and tests, etc. The homework calendar is
 located within every blog.

ENGRADEPRO – check accounts frequently to monitor progress

COMMUNICATION - If there is an issue that you wish to discuss
regarding the blogs, the homework calendar, and/or Engrade, please
send an  email to Ms. Gloria (gpalacios@discoveryschool.edu.hn)

STUDENT ABSENCES - If your child is sick, please send an email
to Ms. Gloria so she can excuse your child and inform all teachers.

BAKE SALE - the Junior class will have a bake sale on Wednesday, March 14
in order to raise funds for their upcoming community service.

SLUSHIES SALE - the Senior class will be selling slushies on Friday, March 23
in order to raise funds for their community service.

BOOT CAMP for grades 9 to 12 -  scheduled for Friday, April 6. A letter was
sent home with your child last week. The letter needs to come back to school
by Friday, March 9, signed and with the payment attached. We need at
least 80% of the high school students participating in order to organize the activity.
